Ron Zasadzinski - CEO & Founder

Meet Our Talent

Ron Zasadzinski, CEO & Founder

Ron began computer programming when the 4K TRS-80 was a hot machine, and hand-coded his first website in 1998. In 2002, he started CodeGeek in Fort Collins, CO and has since worked with clients all over the US. Ron is involved in a number of ventures including co-owner of The Hive, co-founder of Ignite Fort Collins, and is a flight instructor with over 29 years and 8000 hours of flying experience. Ron has been deeply involved with several Beechcraft flight training organizations including Bonanza & Baron Pilot Training (BPT) and the Beechcraft Pilot Proficiency Program (BPPP), having served as President, Director of Training, Director of Instructor Standardization, and spending 13 years on the Board of Directors. In his free time, Ron enjoys playing ice hockey, watching snow fall, hiking, and skiing with his wife.

Marc Newman - Web Developer

Marc Newman, Developer

Marc has been working in web development since 2006. He specializes in front-end technologies such as HTML and JavaScript, as well as server-side technologies like PHP, MySQL, and Apache. He especially likes writing regular expressions and SQL queries. Marc grew up near Zug, Switzerland and then in Lincoln, Nebraska where he later received a degree in mathematics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In 2010, he moved to Fort Collins, Colorado. Other than programming, Marc reads, tries (and sometimes succeeds) to prepare complicated foods, and does outdoorsy things like backpacking and skiing.

Katy Forte - Lead Project Manager & Web Developer

Katy Forte, Project Manager & Web Developer

Katy joined CodeGeek in 2013 as a project manager and web developer. She specializes in HTML/CSS, WordPress, and works with PHP and Javascript programming. After earning a degree in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, she traveled Europe before moving to Colorado in April 2011. With work experience in public relations and marketing, catering, biotechnology, construction, and distance education, she now attends Front Range Community College for a Multimedia Graphic Design degree, along with certificates in Web Authoring and Web Programming. When not working, Katy enjoys touring microbreweries, traveling, and playing in the mountains.

Jason Robie - Project Manager & Web Developer

Jason Robie, Web Developer

Jason is an aspiring WordPress developer with skillsets branching into Search Engine Optimization and custom web design. He also provides technical support and training in various areas related to computers and technology. Jason’s strengths also focus on making the language of websites understandable and meaningful to his clients and their respective business needs.  He experienced various industries while striving to become a well-rounded professional. He explored his non-technical side working in various positions including ski patrol, auto mechanic, irrigation, back country care-taker and water park manager. His areas of expertise include: Search Engine Optimization and Marketing, Custom Web Design, WordPress Customization, Auto Repair/Maintenance, back country first aid and Hiking/Camping.

Isaiah Goertz - Senior Web Developer

Isaiah Goertz, Senior Web Developer

Isaiah is the newest member of the CodeGeek family and has been developing web apps and sites since 2008. He got his development chops in Ruby on Rails and loves learning and exploring new (to him) technologies. He’s amped about the maturation of HTML5 and CSS3 and all of the incredible possibilities they bring in creating next-generation user experiences.

He recently returned from a two-year stint in Paraguay through Peace Corps with his wife and loves traveling. He’s new to Fort Collins and Colorado and enjoys all of the opportunities for biking, hiking, camping, and skiing.

John Patzman - Designer

John Patzman, Designer

John has been moving pixels around as a graphic designer since 1994. His first love was the printed page, but he now specializes in responsive web design. He earned a BFA in photography from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1991. John’s background includes studio photography and fine art photographic printing, but he built a career as a graphic designer – both working within an agency environment and as a freelancer. When not designing, John enjoys the analog pursuits of painting, gardening and riding his bike up steep hills.

Bill Webster - Designer

Bill Webster, Designer

Bill is a graphic designer with a background in brand identity development, all kinds of print communications, and web design. Bill studied design at the Rhode Island School of Design, graduating with a BFA in design in 1991. Bill’s design experience has spanned more than a decade, including running the graphic design department for Bell Sports, a major bicycle helmet and bicycle accessory manufacturer in California, and serving as creative director for Colorado-based Invision Marketing. In addition to his graphic work, Bill is an accomplished furniture designer and woodworker.
